PENCS

The PHN can provide practices with a licence for PenCS  software which enables you to analyse your practice data using an extensive array of filters and reports.  Under this arrangement de-identified practice data is shared securely with the PHN.  Practices wishing to participate will need to sign an agreement and will be provided with a quarterly benchmarking report.

Using PenCS software can assist practices with things like improving data quality, enhancing patient care, maximising business potential and meeting accreditation standards.  PenCS software can also assist practices to meet the data sharing requirement for participation in the Practice Incentive Program for Quality Improvement (PIP QI).
