Vacancy description: We are seeking a warm, organised, and proactive Medical Receptionist to join our GP-owned private billing practice. This is a key front-of-house role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient experiences and thrives in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming patients and managing front desk operations
  • Booking appointments and managing the appointment schedule
  • Handling patient enquiries in person and over the phone
  • Processing private billing and payments
  • Managing patient records and correspondence
  • Supporting doctors and nurses with administrative tasks

About You:

  • Previous medical reception experience preferred (but not essential for the right candidate)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional presentation and a compassionate approach to patients
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
  • A team player who contributes positively to workplace culture
