Sheridan is a corporate governance and compliance professional with over 20 years’ experience advising boards and executive management with not-for-profit organisations, government and government-owned corporations, and ASX-listed companies. She has worked with Australian and international organisations across a wide range of industries including primary health, aged care, mining, financial services and aviation. Sheridan has served as a non-executive director in the aged care sector and on the board of a credit union, including roles as Deputy Chair and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.
Megan Daniels
Board Director
Megan Daniels is a dedicated regional community leader and experienced not-for-profit board director based in Emerald. She currently serves on boards in the primary healthcare and natural resource management sectors. Megan previously served two terms as a Councillor with the Central Highlands Regional Council, retiring in 2024, and has held board roles across regional development, social services, and affordable and disability housing organisations.
Alongside her governance work, Megan is a primary producer operating a beef grazing enterprise, and a consultant delivering ESG and community development outcomes. She is deeply committed to supporting strong, sustainable and thriving regional, rural and remote communities. She holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2).
Angie Matheson
Director Mental Health, AOD
Angela Matheson has 20 years of experience working in the alcohol and other drugs field. Her work retains a focus on reducing harm, addressing stigma and empowering people to make informed health choices. She is passionate about working alongside people with lived and living experience to design and implement services that are welcoming and effective.
As Director of Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs she is working with the team to deliver on reforms that aim to create an effective, accessible and culturally appropriate network of mental health, alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention services in our region.
In her work with NSW Ministry of Health, Angela co-led the development of a drug checking service model that is currently being implemented at NSW music festivals. She also led the scale up of the NSW Take Home Naloxone Program across public health, justice health and non-government services. Both programs seek to reduce the risk and impact of drug overdoses on people who use drugs, their friends, families and communities.
Her other areas of focus include LGBTQIA+ health and wellbeing; mental health comorbidities; and law enforcement/health partnerships.
Julie Dymock
Director, Healthy Ageing, End-of-Life Care
Julie has more than 20 years experience in the aged care industry and is passionate about enabling older Australians to age as happily and healthily as they can. Her focus is on advocating for safe, excellent, and quality residential aged care in Australia and ensuring end of life care is provided to older people how and when they want it in a respectful, caring and compassionate manner. Julie has held senior roles with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, has managed several large, aged care facilities in Queensland and more recently was the Head of Clinical Governance for a large multi-state not-for-profit aged care organisation. Julie is a tertiary qualified registered nurse, has post graduate qualifications in health management and is currently completing a Masters in Gerontology. Julie is also a member of the Clinical Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Gerontology Association.
Matthew Schull

Matthew brings 30 years’ experience in hospital, primary care, community and aged care settings, in government and not-for-profit organisations, including leadership roles with Healthy North Coast PHN, Queensland Health, Uniting Care Queensland, Blue Care and Anglicare Southern Queensland. His skills in leadership development, policy, change management, organisational development, project management and service design and evaluation inform his approach to improving primary services delivery. Matthew is currently undertaking a Master of Public Health and Health Service Management at UNSW.
Sara Rossi
Director Corporate Services
Sara has more than 15 years experience in operations management and corporate services with specific expertise in managing ICT, HR, Risk and Quality and Facilities functions. Sara is a transformational leader that can quickly identify business gaps and issues and excels in leading teams through change. She transitioned to the health sector in 2021, following senior roles in business management across a range of industries including engineering consulting, waste management and manufacturing. She holds a qualifications in Business Management, Business Analytics and Project Management and Diploma in Interpreting and Translation from the Institute PIO IX in Rome.
Olivia Naughtin

With nearly 20 years’ experience in community health and development across the local government and not-for-profit organisations in Australia and internationally, Olivia is passionate about the power of community and the ability of people to influence their health and wellbeing by working together. In close to a decade working for World Vision Australia, Olivia led community development programs delivering significant economic and health impacts in communities across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. As the Director of Healthy Communities, Olivia works with health partners to foster healthy and connected communities, including building resilience in dealing with climate challenges and addressing the health impacts of disasters on individuals.
Samara Finlayson

Samara brings more than 25 years of experience across brand, marketing and communications, with a background spanning health, advertising and digital experience design. She combines strategic planning with strong creative capability to translate complex issues into clear stories, practical campaigns and tools that help people take action.
Samara is a passionate advocate for equity focused system reform and the role primary care plays in prevention, early intervention and community resilience. She is passionate about building high-performing teams and modern communications systems that blend audience insight, digital capability and performance data to strengthen impact across diverse programs and partnerships.
Tim Garden

With more than 20 years of experience in health care, Tim has a diverse background in technology, business transformation and digital health across urban, regional, and remote Australia. Tim is enthusiastic about the use of innovative digital health capabilities to unlock new models of care and to enable the delivery of high quality, integrated health services. His experience includes commissioning digital services for hospitals; developing, implementing and piloting a range of jurisdictional and national digital health solutions; and collaborating with strategic partners to address technology gaps in regional and remote communities.Originally from the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Tim is eager to work with the Country to Coast QLD partners to deliver exciting and meaningful digital health improvements to the region.
Tony Hendry

Tony is a qualified accountant and CPA with over 45 years of experience, bringing deep expertise in financial leadership, governance, and strategic planning. He began his career in audit at the Australian National Audit Office, where he developed a strong foundation in compliance, accountability, and public sector governance.
For the past 30 years, Tony has dedicated his career to the health sector, holding senior finance roles across both acute and primary health care. His leadership roles include serving as Chief Financial Officer for Gold Coast Health, Queensland Health, Northern Territory Health, and a Primary Health Network (PHN). Most recently, Tony chaired the Finance Board within NT Health, providing strategic oversight and ensuring effective financial stewardship.
Tony has extensive experience working with Boards and executive teams, helping to shape and deliver strategic priorities that focus on improving health outcomes. He is passionate about primary health and is committed to finding sustainable ways to support people in living happy and fulfilling lives. A strong advocate for community impact, Tony ensures that every dollar spent delivers maximum benefit for the people it serves.
Outside of his professional life, Tony is an avid sports enthusiast and devoted AFL supporter. He regularly attends major sporting events, enjoying the energy and excitement they bring.
Julie Sturgess

Julie brings more than 30 years of experience across clinical care, health service design, digital health and executive leadership, including as CEO of Healthy North Coast (North Coast PHN) and Principal Health Specialist at Telstra Health.
Julie is a passionate advocate for system reform that centres community voice and strengthens rural and remote care. She has led primary health responses to climate-related disasters, from regional droughts to flooding, including during and after the devastating 2022 Lismore flood events. Her work focuses on digital innovation, equity focused reform and the partnerships needed to address the social and environmental drivers of health.
Michael Walsh
Board Director
Michael is a highly experienced leader with expertise in health governance and strategy, system reform and digital health strategy and transformation. With a distinguished career that includes serving twice as Director- General of Queensland Health, he has overseen large-scale public sector systems and reform and driven major digital transformation.
As Chair of multiple health and digital health organisations, including the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre and the Australasian Institute for Digital Health, in addition to chairing the former Australian Health Ministers Advisory Committee, Michael has played a key role in shaping Australia’s health and digital health landscape. His expertise spans governance, strategy, planning, and transformation, with notable contributions to national health policy, digital system transformation and public sector excellence.
Paul White

Paul is an accomplished Director and CEO having served with several ASX-listed companies, including his current position as the Chair of Magnetite Mines Ltd and 10 years as the Chief Executive Officer of Brisbane Broncos Ltd. Paul has also held high-level positions at Anglo American Metallurgical Coal and Xstrata Zinc. Paul’s strong connection to regional Queensland, including still calling Rockhampton home, drives his passion for community service and underpins his understanding of the diverse health challenges our region faces.
Karen Murphy

Karen is an experienced CEO and Non-Executive Director with extensive experience in ASX-listed companies, government and not-for-profit organisation across multiple sectors, including health, biomedical engineering, legal, financial services and community services. Karen is currently the Chair of Right at Home (RightCare) an approved provider of Support at Home Services and has previously serviced on the Boards of Gold Coast Hospital and Health District Board, Emergency Medicine Foundation, the Spinal Injuries Association, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and the Real Estate Institute of Queensland. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is currently Chief Operating Officer at the Translational Research Institute.

David is Managing Director of Damarcon, a privately owned advisory and investment business. He has over 20 years’ experience on private, government and community sector boards. David has a strong community focus with particular interest in health and disabilities and has been awarded an Order of Australia, Queensland’s Australian of the Year, and EY Social Entrepreneur of the Year.
Dr Fiona McGrath

Fiona has worked as a GP on the Sunshine Coast since 1998. She is a passionate advocate for primary healthcare and maintains involvement in GP education, practice improvement and primary healthcare program improvement and innovation. Her experience has included both leadership and program development roles at local, regional and state levels in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors.
Rebecca Bell

Originally an Occupational Therapist, Rebecca has served in senior executive roles across health and community organisations, responsible for health and care service delivery, policy development, strategy, and business development. Rebecca was previously the Senior Executive, Member Health at Medibank Private where she was accountable for health and wellbeing support for Medibank Private’s 3.8 million members. Rebecca has served on the Boards of CASPA Family Services and Healthy North Coast. Rebecca has been included in the AFR Boss’ Top 10 Young Executives. Rebecca is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Shea is a Gaangulu man, originally from Central Queensland. He is a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland, focussing on Aboriginal men’s health and COVID-19 health messaging in Indigenous communities. Shea has significant experience advising and working in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation sector, research sector, and youth sector. In 2015, he was appointed by the Australian Government to serve as the Australian Youth Delegate to the United Nations.
Shea currently serves on the Board of Metro North Hospital and Health Service and was previously on the Board of Health and Wellbeing Qld. Shea is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In close to a decade working for World Vision Australia, Olivia led community development programs delivering significant economic and health impacts in communities across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. As the Director of Healthy Communities, Olivia works with health partners to foster healthy and connected communities, including building resilience in dealing with climate challenges and addressing the health impacts of disasters on individuals.

With more than 20 years of experience in health care, Tim has a diverse background in technology, business transformation and digital health across urban, regional, and remote Australia. Tim is enthusiastic about the use of innovative digital health capabilities to unlock new models of care and to enable the delivery of high quality, integrated health services. His experience includes commissioning digital services for hospitals; developing, implementing and piloting a range of jurisdictional and national digital health solutions; and collaborating with strategic partners to address technology gaps in regional and remote communities.Originally from the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Tim is eager to work with the Country to Coast QLD partners to deliver exciting and meaningful digital health improvements to the region.

Tony is a qualified accountant and CPA with over 45 years of experience, bringing deep expertise in financial leadership, governance, and strategic planning. He began his career in audit at the Australian National Audit Office, where he developed a strong foundation in compliance, accountability, and public sector governance.
For the past 30 years, Tony has dedicated his career to the health sector, holding senior finance roles across both acute and primary health care. His leadership roles include serving as Chief Financial Officer for Gold Coast Health, Queensland Health, Northern Territory Health, and a Primary Health Network (PHN). Most recently, Tony chaired the Finance Board within NT Health, providing strategic oversight and ensuring effective financial stewardship.
Tony has extensive experience working with Boards and executive teams, helping to shape and deliver strategic priorities that focus on improving health outcomes. He is passionate about primary health and is committed to finding sustainable ways to support people in living happy and fulfilling lives. A strong advocate for community impact, Tony ensures that every dollar spent delivers maximum benefit for the people it serves.
Outside of his professional life, Tony is an avid sports enthusiast and devoted AFL supporter. He regularly attends major sporting events, enjoying the energy and excitement they bring.

Julie is a passionate advocate for system reform that centres community voice and strengthens rural and remote care. She has led primary health responses to climate-related disasters, from regional droughts to flooding, including during and after the devastating 2022 Lismore flood events. Her work focuses on digital innovation, equity focused reform and the partnerships needed to address the social and environmental drivers of health.

With a distinguished career that includes serving twice as Director- General of Queensland Health, he has overseen large-scale public sector systems and reform and driven major digital transformation.
As Chair of multiple health and digital health organisations, including the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre and the Australasian Institute for Digital Health, in addition to chairing the former Australian Health Ministers Advisory Committee, Michael has played a key role in shaping Australia’s health and digital health landscape. He is a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland, focussing on Aboriginal men’s health and COVID-19 health messaging in Indigenous communities. Shea has significant experience advising and working in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation sector, research sector, and youth sector. In 2015, he was appointed by the Australian Government to serve as the Australian Youth Delegate to the United Nations.

Alongside her governance work, Megan is a primary producer operating a beef grazing enterprise, and a consultant delivering ESG and community development outcomes. Angela Matheson has 20 years of experience working in the alcohol and other drugs field. Her work retains a focus on reducing harm, addressing stigma and empowering people to make informed health choices. She is passionate about working alongside people with lived and living experience to design and implement services that are welcoming and effective.
As Director of Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs she is working with the team to deliver on reforms that aim to create an effective, accessible and culturally appropriate network of mental health, alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention services in our region.
In her work with NSW Ministry of Health, Angela co-led the development of a drug checking service model that is currently being implemented at NSW music festivals. She also led the scale up of the NSW Take Home Naloxone Program across public health, justice health and non-government services. Both programs seek to reduce the risk and impact of drug overdoses on people who use drugs, their friends, families and communities.
Her other areas of focus include LGBTQIA+ health and wellbeing; mental health comorbidities; and law enforcement/health partnerships.

Julie has more than 20 years experience in the aged care industry and is passionate about enabling older Australians to age as happily and healthily as they can. Her focus is on advocating for safe, excellent, and quality residential aged care in Australia and ensuring end of life care is provided to older people how and when they want it in a respectful, caring and compassionate manner. Julie has held senior roles with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, has managed several large, aged care facilities in Queensland and more recently was the Head of Clinical Governance for a large multi-state not-for-profit aged care organisation. Julie is a tertiary qualified registered nurse, has post graduate qualifications in health management and is currently completing a Masters in Gerontology. Julie is also a member of the Clinical Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Gerontology Association.

Angela Matheson has 20 years of experience working in the alcohol and other drugs field. Her work retains a focus on reducing harm, addressing stigma and empowering people to make informed health choices. She is passionate about working alongside people with lived and living experience to design and implement services that are welcoming and effective.
As Director of Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs she is working with the team to deliver on reforms that aim to create an effective, accessible and culturally appropriate network of mental health, alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention services in our region.
In her work with NSW Ministry of Health, Angela co-led the development of a drug checking service model that is currently being implemented at NSW music festivals. She also led the scale up of the NSW Take Home Naloxone Program across public health, justice health and non-government services. Both programs seek to reduce the risk and impact of drug overdoses on people who use drugs, their friends, families and communities.
Her other areas of focus include LGBTQIA+ health and wellbeing; mental health comorbidities; and law enforcement/health partnerships.

Julie has more than 20 years experience in the aged care industry and is passionate about enabling older Australians to age as happily and healthily as they can. Julie has held senior roles with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, has managed several large, aged care facilities in Queensland and more recently was the Head of Clinical Governance for a large multi-state not-for-profit aged care organisation. Julie is a tertiary qualified registered nurse, has post graduate qualifications in health management and is currently completing a Masters in Gerontology. Angela Matheson has 20 years of experience working in the alcohol and other drugs field. Her work retains a focus on reducing harm, addressing stigma and empowering people to make informed health choices. She is passionate about working alongside people with lived and living experience to design and implement services that are welcoming and effective.
As Director of Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs she is working with the team to deliver on reforms that aim to create an effective, accessible and culturally appropriate network of mental health, alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention services in our region.
In her work with NSW Ministry of Health, Angela co-led the development of a drug checking service model that is currently being implemented at NSW music festivals. She also led the scale up of the NSW Take Home Naloxone Program across public health, justice health and non-government services. Both programs seek to reduce the risk and impact of drug overdoses on people who use drugs, their friends, families and communities.
Her other areas of focus include LGBTQIA+ health and wellbeing; mental health comorbidities; and law enforcement/health partnerships.

Julie has held senior roles with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, has managed several large, aged care facilities in Queensland and more recently was the Head of Clinical Governance for a large multi-state not-for-profit aged care organisation. Julie is a tertiary qualified registered nurse, has post graduate qualifications in health management and is currently completing a Masters in Gerontology. Julie is also a member of the Clinical Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Gerontology Association.

His leadership roles include serving as Chief Financial Officer for Gold Coast Health, Queensland Health, Northern Territory Health, and a Primary Health Network (PHN). Most recently, Tony chaired the Finance Board within NT Health, providing strategic oversight and ensuring effective financial stewardship.
Tony has extensive experience working with Boards and executive teams, helping to shape and deliver strategic priorities that focus on improving health outcomes. He is passionate about primary health and is committed to finding sustainable ways to support people in living happy and fulfilling lives. Angela Matheson has 20 years of experience working in the alcohol and other drugs field. Her work retains a focus on reducing harm, addressing stigma and empowering people to make informed health choices. She is passionate about working alongside people with lived and living experience to design and implement services that are welcoming and effective.
As Director of Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs she is working with the team to deliver on reforms that aim to create an effective, accessible and culturally appropriate network of mental health, alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention services in our region.
In her work with NSW Ministry of Health, Angela co-led the development of a drug checking service model that is currently being implemented at NSW music festivals. She also led the scale up of the NSW Take Home Naloxone Program across public health, justice health and non-government services. Both programs seek to reduce the risk and impact of drug overdoses on people who use drugs, their friends, families and communities.
Her other areas of focus include LGBTQIA+ health and wellbeing; mental health comorbidities; and law enforcement/health partnerships.

Julie has more than 20 years experience in the aged care industry and is passionate about enabling older Australians to age as happily and healthily as they can. Her focus is on advocating for safe, excellent, and quality residential aged care in Australia and ensuring end of life care is provided to older people how and when they want it in a respectful, caring and compassionate manner. Julie has held senior roles with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, has managed several large, aged care facilities in Queensland and more recently was the Head of Clinical Governance for a large multi-state not-for-profit aged care organisation. Julie is a tertiary qualified registered nurse, has post graduate qualifications in health management and is currently completing a Masters in Gerontology. Julie is also a member of the Clinical Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Gerontology Association.

Angela Matheson has 20 years of experience working in the alcohol and other drugs field. Her work retains a focus on reducing harm, addressing stigma and empowering people to make informed health choices. She is passionate about working alongside people with lived and living experience to design and implement services that are welcoming and effective.
As Director of Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs she is working with the team to deliver on reforms that aim to create an effective, accessible and culturally appropriate network of mental health, alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention services in our region.
In her work with NSW Ministry of Health, Angela co-led the development of a drug checking service model that is currently being implemented at NSW music festivals. She also led the scale up of the NSW Take Home Naloxone Program across public health, justice health and non-government services. Both programs seek to reduce the risk and impact of drug overdoses on people who use drugs, their friends, families and communities.
Her other areas of focus include LGBTQIA+ health and wellbeing; mental health comorbidities; and law enforcement/health partnerships.

Angela Matheson has 20 years of experience working in the alcohol and other drugs field. Her work retains a focus on reducing harm, addressing stigma and empowering people to make informed health choices. She is passionate about working alongside people with lived and living experience to design and implement services that are welcoming and effective.
As Director of Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs she is working with the team to deliver on reforms that aim to create an effective, accessible and culturally appropriate network of mental health, alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention services in our region.
In her work with NSW Ministry of Health, Angela co-led the development of a drug checking service model that is currently being implemented at NSW music festivals. She also led the scale up of the NSW Take Home Naloxone Program across public health, justice health and non-government services. Both programs seek to reduce the risk and impact of drug overdoses on people who use drugs, their friends, families and communities.
Her other areas of focus include LGBTQIA+ health and wellbeing; mental health comorbidities; and law enforcement/health partnerships.

Julie has held senior roles with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, has managed several large, aged care facilities in Queensland and more recently was the Head of Clinical Governance for a large multi-state not-for-profit aged care organisation. Julie is a tertiary qualified registered nurse, has post graduate qualifications in health management and is currently completing a Masters in Gerontology. Julie is also a member of the Clinical Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Gerontology Association.

With more than 20 years of experience in health care, Tim has a diverse background in technology, business transformation and digital health across urban, regional, and remote Australia. Tim is enthusiastic about the use of innovative digital health capabilities to unlock new models of care and to enable the delivery of high quality, integrated health services. His experience includes commissioning digital services for hospitals; developing, implementing and piloting a range of jurisdictional and national digital health solutions; and collaborating with strategic partners to address technology gaps in regional and remote communities.Originally from the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Tim is eager to work with the Country to Coast QLD partners to deliver exciting and meaningful digital health improvements to the region.
Tony Hendry

Tony is a qualified accountant and CPA with over 45 years of experience, bringing deep expertise in financial leadership, governance, and strategic planning. He began his career in audit at the Australian National Audit Office, where he developed a strong foundation in compliance, accountability, and public sector governance.
For the past 30 years, Tony has dedicated his career to the health sector, holding senior finance roles across both acute and primary health care. His leadership roles include serving as Chief Financial Officer for Gold Coast Health, Queensland Health, Northern Territory Health, and a Primary Health Network (PHN). Most recently, Tony chaired the Finance Board within NT Health, providing strategic oversight and ensuring effective financial stewardship.
Tony has extensive experience working with Boards and executive teams, helping to shape and deliver strategic priorities that focus on improving health outcomes. He is passionate about primary health and is committed to finding sustainable ways to support people in living happy and fulfilling lives. A strong advocate for community impact, Tony ensures that every dollar spent delivers maximum benefit for the people it serves.
Outside of his professional life, Tony is an avid sports enthusiast and devoted AFL supporter. He regularly attends major sporting events, enjoying the energy and excitement they bring.
Julie Sturgess

Julie brings more than 30 years of experience across clinical care, health service design, digital health and executive leadership, including as CEO of Healthy North Coast (North Coast PHN) and Principal Health Specialist at Telstra Health.
Julie is a passionate advocate for system reform that centres community voice and strengthens rural and remote care. She has led primary health responses to climate-related disasters, from regional droughts to flooding, including during and after the devastating 2022 Lismore flood events. Her work focuses on digital innovation, equity focused reform and the partnerships needed to address the social and environmental drivers of health.
Michael Walsh

Michael is a highly experienced leader with expertise in health governance and strategy, system reform and digital health strategy and transformation. With a distinguished career that includes serving twice as Director- General of Queensland Health, he has overseen large-scale public sector systems and reform and driven major digital transformation.
As Chair of multiple health and digital health organisations, including the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre and the Australasian Institute for Digital Health, in addition to chairing the former Australian Health Ministers Advisory Committee, Michael has played a key role in shaping Australia’s health and digital health landscape. His expertise spans governance, strategy, planning, and transformation, with notable contributions to national health policy, digital system transformation and public sector excellence.

Paul’s strong connection to regional Queensland, including still calling Rockhampton home, drives his passion for community service and underpins his understanding of the diverse health challenges our region faces.

Karen is currently the Chair of Right at Home (RightCare) an approved provider of Support at Home Services and has previously serviced on the Boards of Gold Coast Hospital and Health District Board, Emergency Medicine Foundation, the Spinal Injuries Association, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and the Real Estate Institute of Queensland. Originally an Occupational Therapist, Rebecca has served in senior executive roles across health and community organisations, responsible for health and care service delivery, policy development, strategy, and business development. Rebecca was previously the Senior Executive, Member Health at Medibank Private where she was accountable for health and wellbeing support for Medibank Private’s 3.8 million members. Rebecca has served on the Boards of CASPA Family Services and Healthy North Coast. Rebecca has been included in the AFR Boss’ Top 10 Young Executives. Rebecca is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Dr Shea Spierings

Shea is a Gaangulu man, originally from Central Queensland. He is a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland, focussing on Aboriginal men’s health and COVID-19 health messaging in Indigenous communities. Shea has significant experience advising and working in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation sector, research sector, and youth sector. In 2015, he was appointed by the Australian Government to serve as the Australian Youth Delegate to the United Nations.
Shea currently serves on the Board of Metro North Hospital and Health Service and was previously on the Board of Health and Wellbeing Qld. Shea is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Megan Daniels is a dedicated regional community leader and experienced not-for-profit board director based in Emerald. She currently serves on boards in the primary healthcare and natural resource management sectors. Megan previously served two terms as a Councillor with the Central Highlands Regional Council, retiring in 2024, and has held board roles across regional development, social services, and affordable and disability housing organisations.
Alongside her governance work, Megan is a primary producer operating a beef grazing enterprise, and a consultant delivering ESG and community development outcomes. She is deeply committed to supporting strong, sustainable and thriving regional, rural and remote communities. She holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2).
Angie Matheson
Director Mental Health, AOD
Angela Matheson has 20 years of experience working in the alcohol and other drugs field. Her work retains a focus on reducing harm, addressing stigma and empowering people to make informed health choices. She is passionate about working alongside people with lived and living experience to design and implement services that are welcoming and effective.
As Director of Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs she is working with the team to deliver on reforms that aim to create an effective, accessible and culturally appropriate network of mental health, alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention services in our region.
In her work with NSW Ministry of Health, Angela co-led the development of a drug checking service model that is currently being implemented at NSW music festivals. She also led the scale up of the NSW Take Home Naloxone Program across public health, justice health and non-government services. Both programs seek to reduce the risk and impact of drug overdoses on people who use drugs, their friends, families and communities.
Her other areas of focus include LGBTQIA+ health and wellbeing; mental health comorbidities; and law enforcement/health partnerships.
Julie Dymock
Director, Healthy Ageing, End-of-Life Care
Julie has more than 20 years experience in the aged care industry and is passionate about enabling older Australians to age as happily and healthily as they can. Her focus is on advocating for safe, excellent, and quality residential aged care in Australia and ensuring end of life care is provided to older people how and when they want it in a respectful, caring and compassionate manner. Julie has held senior roles with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, has managed several large, aged care facilities in Queensland and more recently was the Head of Clinical Governance for a large multi-state not-for-profit aged care organisation. Julie is a tertiary qualified registered nurse, has post graduate qualifications in health management and is currently completing a Masters in Gerontology. Julie is also a member of the Clinical Governance Institute of Australia and the Australian Gerontology Association.
Matthew Schull

Matthew brings 30 years’ experience in hospital, primary care, community and aged care settings, in government and not-for-profit organisations, including leadership roles with Healthy North Coast PHN, Queensland Health, Uniting Care Queensland, Blue Care and Anglicare Southern Queensland. His skills in leadership development, policy, change management, organisational development, project management and service design and evaluation inform his approach to improving primary services delivery. Matthew is currently undertaking a Master of Public Health and Health Service Management at UNSW.

Sara has more than 15 years experience in operations management and corporate services with specific expertise in managing ICT, HR, Risk and Quality and Facilities functions. Sara is a transformational leader that can quickly identify business gaps and issues and excels in leading teams through change. She transitioned to the health sector in 2021, following senior roles in business management across a range of industries including engineering consulting, waste management and manufacturing. She holds a qualifications in Business Management, Business Analytics and Project Management and Diploma in Interpreting and Translation from the Institute PIO IX in Rome.

In close to a decade working for World Vision Australia, Olivia led community development programs delivering significant economic and health impacts in communities across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. As the Director of Healthy Communities, Olivia works with health partners to foster healthy and connected communities, including building resilience in dealing with climate challenges and addressing the health impacts of disasters on individuals.
