The Administrator (Contracts & Procurement) position provides exceptional administration support for commissioned primary health and social services across the Country to Coast (CCQ) region.

This role will be offered as a 2-year maximum term contract.

 

Key responsibilities

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, time management and ability to prioritise tasks, and:

  • contribute to day to day contract administration;
  • ability to be an effective team member who is willing to learn;
  • monitor and action sensitive emails accounts.
  • scribe for procurement panels showcasing their ability to understand complex conversations and take key notes;
  • use Lucid chart to translate procedure into visual collaboration tools;
  • contribute to contract management system and other systems maintenance;
  • be experienced at developing professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • contribute to a significant business improvement agenda; and,
  • contribute to the preparation of briefings, reports and submissions and executive correspondence.

 

Key Selection Criteria

  • 3 years relevant experience in an administration role, ideally within the health or not-for-profit sector or with contracts and procurement exposure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to team success.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and consultation skills appropriate for a human services procurement environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work autonomously and as an effective team member to prioritise work and achieve outcomes.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to Work Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Cultural Safety, and Continuous Improvement principles.

Salary benefits: An attractive remuneration package, including salary sacrifice packaging up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, and up to $2,650 to pay for entertainment expenses such as meals and holidays.
