Free, confidential advice and service guidance — by phone or in person. Everyone’s different. We’ll help you find support that fits your needs.
How Medicare Mental Health can help
By phone or at our centres, Medicare Mental Health listens, asks a few questions about what’s going on, then connects you with free or low-cost options that fit your needs — whether you want immediate help or ongoing care for you or someone you support.
- Talk to a real person — on the phone or in person with a peer worker — who understands the local service system
- Get matched to the right next step: counselling, peer support, care navigation, digital tools, alcohol and other drug services, or community supports
- At centres: use a quiet space for calls or video sessions, get help with forms and referrals, and bring a support person if you like
