Walk-in care for non-life-threatening injuries and illness.
Bulk-billed care for urgent health needs — no appointment needed. When you can’t see your usual GP and it’s not life-threatening, a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) can help. Patients must show a valid Medicare card to use the service.
Medicare UCCs provide same-day care for non-life-threatening illness and injury, including:
Minor infections
Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Minor fractures, sprains, sports injuries and neck and back pain
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
Stitches and glue for minor cuts
Insect bites and rashes
Minor eye and ear problems
Respiratory illness
Gastroenteritis
Minor burns
