Event Details

Event description: With the huge volume of papers published on any topic, and patients consulting “Doctor Google” and social media, many health professionals would like to feel more confident that they can access the best information for their clinical needs. This is a one-day online workshop that will provide guidance on what constitutes ‘quality’ in cohort studies, case-control studies, randomised controlled trials and systematic reviews. The example studies for discussion will focus on maternity and newborn care and women’s health, but will be relevant for participants from other disciplines.
