Bundaberg PALM Health Program

Contract Details

The Bundaberg PALM Health Program focuses on improving access to primary healthcare and wellbeing outcomes for Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme workers living and working in the Bundaberg region.

Delivered by IMPACT Community Services through a consortium arrangement, this localised work brings together PALM workers, health services, employers and community stakeholders to better understand local needs and strengthen collaboration across sectors.

The program aims to:

  • strengthen cross-sector collaboration to improve access to primary healthcare, including during disasters
  • build an evidence base to inform culturally responsive health and wellbeing initiatives
  • co-design practical, locally relevant solutions that improve access to primary healthcare and reduce disaster and climate-related risks
  • support the development and early implementation of sustainable initiatives and system improvements.
