Build your primary care resilience with a free custom guide

Primary care providers in Rockhampton, Livingstone, Bundaberg and Fraser Coast have until 30 June 2026 to access a free tailored Organisational Resilience Guide through the Growing Primary Care Resilience Program.

Funded by Country to Coast Queensland through the PHN program and supported by Resilient CARE, the program is helping general practices, pharmacies, Aboriginal Medical Services and other primary healthcare providers strengthen their preparedness, response and recovery planning.

Each guide is customised to the organisation and local area, including:

  • key emergency and support contacts
  • local threats and vulnerabilities
  • practical next steps to strengthen preparedness
  • region-specific emergency contacts.

Following recent severe weather events across the region, participating organisations have found the guides useful for emergency planning, staff inductions and training, and supporting faster recovery after disruptions.

The program closes on 30 June 2026, so providers are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity during the next four weeks.

To arrange an Organisational Resilience Guide or an all-staff in-house workshop, contact Trish Mears at [email protected].

You can find out more about the free program at the Regional Business HQ website.

The Growing Primary Care Resilience Program is funded by Country to Coast Queensland through the Australian Government’s PHN program and is supported by Resilient CARE, a partnership between CCQ and Australian Business Volunteers.
