Health Workforce Queensland’s Scholarship Program will open for Round 2 applications on 13 April 2026, supporting students and health professionals preparing for careers in rural and remote primary care.
The program offers financial support and professional development opportunities across a range of disciplines, including medicine, nursing, midwifery, dentistry and allied health.
By helping ease the cost of study and placement, the scholarships aim to strengthen the future rural and remote health workforce across Queensland.
Round 2 applications close 26 April 2026.
This round is open for courses commencing on or before 21 August 2026, excluding courses completed before application submission. Outcomes will be advised on 15 May 2026.
