MIA Nurse Webinar: Wound management in melanoma

Hosted by Melanoma Institute Australia, our new webinar series will help you access current, evidence-based information that is relevant to your practice.

In our first webinar, ‘Wound management in melanoma”, presenter Shahn Coburn (CNC) will cover the basics of wound care, focusing specifically on managing wounds in melanoma, including primary closures, skin grafts, dissection sites and fungating tumours.

About the speaker

Shahn Coburn completed a Bachelor of Nursing at The University of Wollongong and a Masters in Nursing Specialisation (Oncology). She is currently working at Melanoma Institute Australia as the surgical Clinical Nurse Consultant and has previously worked in the Melanoma Clinic at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
