This Drug and Alcohol First Aid is supported by funding from the Australian Government through the Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast PHN Program.

Do you have regular contact with people who are affected by problematic alcohol and drug use? This one-day community workshop will give you the knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to alcohol and drug issues. Find out about emerging drugs and their impacts.

Who should attend?

This workshop is suitable for people working (or volunteering) for primary health practices, community services sector, including Corrections, mental health, homelessness, or people who are new to the AOD sector.

About the facilitators

Lives Lived Well clinicians has developed the first Drug and Alcohol First Aid (DAFA) Workshop content and have delivered several workshops since the project’s inception NSW.

Facilitators are extensively qualified and experienced Mental Health and Alcohol and other Drugs treatment clinicians employed by Lives Lived Well, who are subject matter experts ready to share their knowledge and expertise with you.
