This update is for general practitioners who wish to undertake antenatal shared care with the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service. Shared Maternity Care represents an opportunity to practice collaborative holistic obstetric care by combining the varied skills of midwife, general practitioner and obstetrician to the benefit of the community and mutual understanding between colleagues.
The full day workshop provides the opportunity to review and update a wide range of maternity care topics and to develop professional networks across primary care and
hospital settings. (RACGP and ACRRM points pending) GPs, GP registrars, hospital doctors and others with an interest in maternity care are invited to attend. Please note that remote online access to the workshop will also be available (see details when registering).
