Spine Masterclass for GPs - Five patients, five problems

This is a medical education and networking event for General Practitioners.

Brisbane Clinical Neurosciences Centre invite you join them as their guests at a special education evening at Alba by Kuruvita, co-hosted by the Mater Neurosciences Centre.

Back pain in society is a major challenge facing health professionals, responsible for significant personal and societal burden among affected patients.

This program will give you the knowledge and experience to support patients with spine pain, and to provide appropriate guidance on choices of care for spinal conditions requiring surgical intervention—the presentations, the surgical techniques used to treat them, and aftercare.

7 pm to 9 pm GP Spine masterclass – five patients and five conditions

• CHIARI malformation
• Minimally invasive fusion (TLIF)
• Anterior lumbar surgery
• MIS Lumbar microdiscectomy and laminectomy
• Cervical spondylopathy, anterior surgical approaches
• Questions, and demonstration of assessment techniques
