Event Details

You are invited to join our next health professional interactive webinar, where our internationally renowned expert panel will explore with you the latest in diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD).

Did you know people with diabetes can be up to four times more likely to have a heart attack or stroke? It is the risk equivalent of having had a myocardial infarction or stroke. With CVD being the main cause of death among people with diabetes, managing CVD risk is a key priority.

On the night, our panel of international and Australian experts will unpack the latest evidence on CVD and diabetes, including the link between CVD risk and diabetes, as well as pharmacological strategies for the prevention of the two conditions.

This webinar has been accredited by the RACGP for 2 CPD points (activity no. 355838). It is hosted by the Heart Foundation in partnership with the World Heart Federation and Australian Diabetes Society.
