This three-part webinar series, presented by RACGP Specific Interests and Dementia Training Australia will offer a practical and stepwise approach to improving your knowledge, skills, and confidence in diagnosing and managing dementia in general practice.

Presented by three GP specialists in dementia, the first webinar in the series describes the stages and domains approach to recognising and diagnosing dementia in general practice.

Learning outcomes

  1. Recognise features other than memory loss in people with dementia by applying the Domains Framework
  2. Apply the Inclusion Criteria Framework in assessing patients for a possible diagnosis of Alzheimer’s dementia
  3. Apply the Exclusion Criteria Framework in assessing patients for a possible diagnosis of Alzheimer’s dementia.
