Enhancing Primary Sense across the region

In News by PHN Communications

Uptake of Primary Sense continues to increase, with more practices joining each month. We recently celebrated reaching 100 installations, and we are thrilled to announce that we have now surpassed 160 installations across the CCQ region! With another 43 registrations ready to commence their installation journey.

Along with the existing clinical support, decision making, data extraction and population health management functions, there’s a significant amount of work happening behind the scenes. This effort is aimed at continuously enhancing Primary Sense, introducing new functionalities, and rolling out exciting new features. While there is still progress to be made, we are excited to share more details about these developments soon.  CCQ is committed to the vision of Primary Sense and the benefits it brings to practices, our region, and beyond.

If you have not yet had the chance to sign up for Primary Sense, there is still time to get onboard before the end of June to ensure that PIP-QI data uploading and reporting is seamless and hassle-free.

For those practices that are not yet able to join us on the Primary Sense journey, we strongly encourage you to reach out to your Primary Health Coordinator to ensure that you can still upload your PIP-QI data using our secure data uploader.

In May we onboarded a new CCQ lead, Tim Garden as Chief Health Digital Officer! Tim will contribute to the development and lead the execution of CCQ’s Digital Health Strategy, leveraging innovative information technologies to enhance the primary health system.

Tim looks forward to working with General Practice across the region and leading the Primary Sense implementation alongside the CCQ Integration Team, and Primary Health Coordinators.
