Primary Sense Data Sharing and Software License Agreement (DSL)
A new Primary Sense Data Sharing and Software License Agreement (DSL) is now available. General practices using Primary Sense will need to sign the updated agreement. While this does not change how Primary Sense operates or the data it extracts, it clarifies some definitions and processes, simplifies terms, and removes duplication and ambiguity. For questions, reach out to pracsupport@c2coast.org.au

RACGP Accreditation Update
Non-traditional general practices can now seek accreditation under the updated Standards for general practices (5th edition), which ensures all general practices providing comprehensive, patient-centred, whole-person and continuous care are eligible for accreditation.
Accreditation agencies can support your practice to commence the accreditation process. The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) has published virtual and hybrid assessments links under the National General Practice Accreditation Scheme, which provide advice and technical requirements needed for each form of assessment. RACGP also published an Interpretive guide for the accreditation of general practices under the new definition of a general practice for the purpose of accreditation to assist practices seeking accreditation, and agencies and surveyors assessing practices under the new definition.
Childhood Immunisation Health Professional Kit
The Department of Health and Aged Care has developed a Routine Childhood Immunisation kit with resources and free training modules to help health professionals effectively communicate the benefits and safety of vaccinations. The kit includes materials from the Sharing Knowledge About Immunisation (SKAI) training.
Sharing Knowledge about Immunisation training
The SKAI training modules, developed with the NCIRS, use Motivational Interviewing techniques to help health professionals develop tailored communication strategies for patients in the three categories of vaccine acceptance (vaccine acceptance, vaccine hesitant, and vaccine refusal). Enrol in SKAI training here.
