About the practice: Our practice is located on the Main Street of Montville, with plenty of parking for our patients. We are located in a quaint house, that has a comfortable homely feel. We have one GP, a registered Nurse and 2 medical receptionists. We are a busy practice, with patients ages ranging from babies to people in their 90’s. We have 2 Doctor’s rooms, a nurse room and a kitchen available for staff, toilet facilities are available for patients.

Vacancy description:

• Our practice is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm.
• We require a General Practitioner that has the vocational recognition through the RACGP or equivalent.
• The candidate must be able to work unsupervised, provide high quality, primary health care services to our community, keeping with best practice standards.
• We use medical software Best Practice.
• Provide professional care and services to patients of all age ranges, and level of health care needs.
• Respond to medical/ health problems presented by patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral as appropriate.
• Operational care including keeping an accurate, adequate and relevant patients record using established practice protocols and computerised medical records systems. Including specialist referrals, medical history, prescriptions, investigations, treatment, diagnostic results, actively communication with patients, colleagues. specialists and allied health professionals.
• Complete the requirements of the Medical Board of Australia.
• Medicare Australia.
• Actively contribute to our busy practice and assist our community’s health requirements.
