The Bay Surgery is a privately owned and accredited general practice located in the heart of Hervey Bay. Our multidisciplinary team includes experienced GPs, nurses and administrative professionals who work collaboratively to deliver holistic, patient-centered care— Monday to Friday, with no weekends or night shifts.
We are currently seeking a motivated Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our team on a casual basis (25–30 hours per week) with flexibility to provide leave cover. Immediate start available.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality nursing care, including wound care, immunisations, and preventative health screenings
- Health assessments/ Chronic disease management and GP care planning
- Assist in minor procedures and health promotion programs
- Immunisation (including travel, childhood, flu and covid vaccinations)
- Triaging patients
- Maintaining clinical documentation and infection control
- Collaborate across a warm, integrated clinical team
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
About You
- AHPRA registration as RN or EN (essential)
- Primary healthcare or general practice experience (desirable)
- Experienced with Best Practice software or similar
- A friendly team player with strong communication skills
- Able to work independently in the treatment room
- Able to prioritise, multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to culturally safe, inclusive care
- Queensland Driver’s License (preferred)
