All the information you need to know about volunteering in aged care is now in one place.
New materials are available to better support aged care volunteers, managers and providers. You can find:
- support, training and resources
- volunteering opportunities across Australia
- information about what is involved and who is eligible.
This was in response to findings from the Volunteers in Aged Care Survey. The aim of this survey was to help the department understand what is working and how we can improve the national consistency of volunteer training and support.
The findings suggested there was a need for more resources to better support, recruit and train aged care volunteers and Volunteer Managers.
