This month, through the theme of “Love getting older in Queensland”, we celebrate the wisdom, experience, and contributions of our seniors who continue to shape and enrich our communities. Seniors are leaders, mentors, and key contributors to our society, reminding us of the value of staying active, curious, and involved.
Stepping into the month, the Country to Coast Queensland team joined the Sunshine Coast Seniors Festival at Maroochy RSL Events Centre on 1 October. It was great to connect with our vibrant senior community!
At Country to Coast, we’re committed to helping people live and age well, and we’re looking forward to celebrating Queensland Seniors Month with you in October, so hope to see you in Bundaberg at the Seniors Walk of Life on 24 October and also the Corridor to Care event in Rockhampton on the same day.
The Healthy Ageing team enjoyed engaging with the community at the Sunshine Coast Seniors Festival at Maroochy RSL Events Centre on 1 October.
Let’s continue the celebration by connecting with seniors in our community, learning from their stories, and participating in the events around Queensland Seniors Month.
