Supporting health professionals caring for people with intellectual disability

The Primary Care Enhancement Program (PCEP) is an Australian Government-funded initiative designed to improve healthcare outcomes for people with intellectual disabilities. This program equips primary healthcare professionals with specialised training, tools and resources to deliver effective, inclusive care while supporting individuals to better understand and navigate their healthcare journeys.

Operating across four Primary Health Network regions, PCEP aligns with the National Roadmap for Improving the Health of People with Intellectual Disability. Learn more about PCEP on the Department of Health and Aged Care website.
