151 General Practices now registered for Primary Sense across the region

In News by PHN Communications

This month, Primary Sense registration continues to expand, with 59% of eligible practices now partnering with the Country to Coast team to install the state-of-the-art technology into their practices.

Created by GPs specifically for general practice, Primary Sense is user-friendly and available at no cost to general practices located within the CCQ region.

Currently, 79 practices have installed and are utilising the system, which includes real time medication alerts and patient prompts displayed on-screen to assist with clinical decisions. Additionally, the system offers on-demand reporting capabilities to facilitate quality improvement initiatives.

Key features at a glance:

  • A point-of-care clinical decision support tool for general practitioners
  • Evidence-based identification of at-risk patients in real-time
  • Near real-time extraction, analysis, and secure management of de-identified practice data
  • Confidential and secure data handling
  • Embedded and automated prompts for patient risk assessment, quality improvement, and care planning.
