FREE CPD in Recognisign and Responding to Adult Disclosures of Sexual Violence

Event description: This is a 1-day intensive course around responding to adult disclosures of Sexual Violence. This unit focuses on a consultation with a patient who disclosures that they have been subject to sexual violence. It will equip practitioners with an understanding of the challenges to disclosure; identification, assessment and management of risk; informed consent and capacity to consent; privacy and confidentiality; medical care; forensic principles, documentation and reporting; and referrals. This will be a full day event, allowing you to build skills and knowledge to further your skillset and understanding of how to respond to adult disclosures.
