New alcohol harm reduction research

Join the launch of the Reducing Alcohol Related Harm in General Practice (REACH ) Project report! You’ll get a first look at the research findings and access to all our alcohol harm reduction resources.

Dr. Sandro Demaio (VicHealth CEO) will join online to open the session.

Funded by VicHealth, the REACH project developed a toolkit to support the ongoing efforts of Primary Health Networks (PHNs) to reduce harm from alcohol use in the community.

What’s in it for you?

Hear from the lead researcher, Dr. Liz Sturgiss and her team about:

  • key research findings
  • how GPs and patients can have better conversations about alcohol use
  • how to integrate evidence-based REACH resources into general practice
  • how PHNs can support GPs to use routine data and evidence based resources
