CCQ in conjunction with Brisbane South Palliative Care Collaborative is conducting one-day workshops:

Learning outcomes include:

• Understanding the principles and importance of advance care planning (ACP)
• Understanding ACP documents and their legalities
• Recognising and responding to triggers to initiate ACP
• Developing phrases that you can use for ACP conversations
• Learning how best to communicate medical conditions and interventions during end-of-life care
• Learning how to ensure your facility has embedded processes to make ACP routine.

These workshops are targeted to:

• Enrolled nurses (ENs)
• Registered nurses (RNs)
