With a focus on self-harm and suicide in adolescence, this program will assist clinicians to manage youth in distress, self-harm and suicidality.

The program has been designed to build on the current level of skills of participants and to further develop confidence in undertaking risk assessment and safety planning for youth in distress.

Module 1 will need to be completed prior to the commencement of module 2. CPD certificates will be given after completion of all 4 modules in their entirety.

Suitable for mental health clinicians working with young people providing mental health support in a 1:1 setting eg. psychological care or counselling. This training assumes a baseline of knowledge and skills in providing mental health support and if you do not have this, this training will not be suitable for you.
