Country to Coast, QLD (CCQ) is inviting Expressions of Interest for the delivery of primary healthcare services in Imbil, a beautiful rural town located in the Gympie region in Queensland.
With a population of 1300 in Imbil and nearby communities, this regional town currently relies on a local pharmacy as its sole specialty health service, with the nearest general practitioner located 20 minutes away. Following the emergence of significant infrastructure projects in the region, Imbil and surrounds are currently poised for growth and change in community health needs, creating a market opportunity for healthcare providers.
CCQ is seeking a dedicated and experienced primary care practice ready to expand services to improve the health and wellbeing of this community. Ultimately, Country to Coast, QLD is aiming to forge a partnership with a successful provider to assist in establishing or expanding services tailored to local health needs, including subsidising the cost of premises to enhance this business proposition.
Interested health providers are invited to outline key business details, such as location, scale and specialities of their current health service, along with a paragraph outlining reasons for their interest to tenders@c2coast.org.au.
CCQ will review all expressions of interest and invite suitable providers to advance to the next selection phase which may involve responding to a formal tender.
