Call for CCQ Workforce and Education Advisory Group members

Are you a clinician living in the Central Queensland, Wide Bay or Sunshine Coast regions, with a desire to contribute to enhancing the health and well-being of your local community?

Country to Coast, QLD is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that delivers the Primary Health Network (PHN) program on behalf of the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care. We design and commission leading primary health services and coordinated care, in response to an assessment of community health needs.

We are seeking representatives for the Workforce and Education Advisory Group from the following professions:

  • Primary care nurses
  • Allied health clinicians (Chronic Disease)
  • Aboriginal health workers
  • Aged care clinicians
  • Mental health clinicians
  • Universities training health professionals

Participating provides you with the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of primary care across the region and to influence decision-making and policy regarding the provision of education for primary healthcare professionals and workforce solutions.

Advisory group members are remunerated for their participation in meetings. Please see the Terms of Reference for more information.
