Event Details

A new purpose-built,State Government funded Residential Alcohol and other Drug Treatment Centre is currently under construction at 607-701 YaambaRoad, Parkhurst (near the music bowl).

With 42 beds, recreational facilities and extensive grounds, it will provide a supportive, safe, drug, alcohol and smoke-free environment to springboard changes for those adversely impacted by their use of alcohol and/or drugs.

Alcohol management, screening, brief intervention and referral.

Lives Lived Well’s Dr Graeme Judson (BHB, MBChB (Auckland), MHSc (Hons), FAChAM) has over 25 years’ experience working in addiction medicine.

This education session is aimed at equipping primary care providers with the skills to identify patients whose alcohol use may be putting them at risk.

It will also provide appropriate communication strategies when encouraging patient lifestyle change.
