This showcase is the first of a new quarterly series coordinated by the Children’s Integrated Care Collaborative.

About this Event
A virtual showcase presented by the Children’s Integrated Care Collaborative to highlight exciting cross-sector integrated care initiatives, focused on the first 2,000 days of a child’s life.

  • 9am – Welcome to the Showcase by Children’s Health Queensland
    Dr Dana Newcomb, Medical Director Integrated Care, Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service, Co-Chair of the Children’s Integrated Care Collaborative
  • 9:10am – Deadly Kindies
     Milly Phillips, Manager, Early Childhood Education Services, Institute for Urban Indigenous Health
    Deadly Kindies is a key strategy to increase access by Indigenous families to effective and integrated health care and early childhood education, in particular kindergarten participation, rolled out by the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health and the Queensland Department of Education
  • 9:45am – Starting Well
    co-presented by the Starting Well initiative partners
    Starting Well is a new pathway of antenatal and postnatal care co-designed by the Caboolture Hospital’s Maternity Service, Children’s Health Qld’s Child Health Service, Brisbane North PHN and the Health Alliance.
  • 10:20am – Thriving and On Track
    Thriving and On Track program team from the Brisbane South PHN
    Thriving on Track is a collaboration between Brisbane South PHN, Education Queensland, Children’s Health Queensland, The Benevolent Society, Logan Together and childcare centres working together to identify and address developmental concerns for children 2.5 to 3.5 years of age
