Around 10% of Australian adults are living with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and most don’t know it! As there is often no obvious symptoms of CKD, targeted early detection of those individuals at risk is vital. Join Kidney Health Australia and nephrologist Professor Andrew Mallett as he presents the benefits of early detection and how to screen for chronic kidney disease using evidence-based assessment tools. The session will also explore current best practice treatment interventions available in primary care to stop or slow the progression of kidney disease.
