Hepato care – palliative care for advanced liver disease

The session will be presented by Dr Alison Kearney, Staff Specialist – Palliative Care, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Palliative Care Service.

Dr Kearney graduated from the University of Glasgow then travelled to Queensland, completing palliative medicine training in 2005.

She has worked at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital since 2011 and is employed by the gastroenterology department to provide palliative care to patients with advanced cirrhosis.
