This webinar will have a case based focus to illustrate a variety of general endocrinology presentations in primary care, their assessment, management and referral pathways . There will be time for Q & A.

Learning outcomes:

  • Review the interpretation and management of abnormal calcium, PTH, vitamin D tests, and when to refer (HealthPathways: Hypercalcaemia);
  • Review the interpretation of other common endocrinology pathology tests in general practice;
  • Discuss the management of hyperthyroidism, thyroid enlargement and thyroid nodules (HealthPathways: Hyperthyroidism, Thyroid nodules);
  • Describe the management of adrenal insufficiency and adrenal nodules (HealthPathways: Non-acute endocrinology assessment).
