Course Summary
Syphilis notifications are increasing across Queensland, this essential update will provide primary-care providers with the information needed to address this.

Synopsis 
In this interactive webinar, Dr Diane Rowling and Elena McLeish will provide an introduction to syphilis testing, diagnosis, and basic management in QLD, as well as useful pointers for starting conversations about sexual health, contact tracing, and partner notification.

Target Audience
General practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare workers practicing in QLD.

  1. Demonstrate confidence in discussing sexual health with patients
  2. Explain the importance of screening and testing for STIs and BBVs
  3. Describe contact tracing and its key role in managing STIs
