New resources available from ECCQ.

The Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) is continuing its work within the culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) populations in Queensland and the Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS and Sexual Health Program is pleased to advise the availability of new resources for patients.

The B Healthy booklet is now available in Korean, to complement the existing resource available in English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic.

We also have a new resource called ‘Let’s Talk About It…’, a comprehensive information source written in plain English addressing Hepatitis, HIV and Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs). This resource has been reviewed by many clinical specialists in this area with particular thanks to Dr David Siebert Infectious Diseases Specialist at the Princess Alexandra and Logan Hospitals.

All of our written translated resources can be downloaded from the ECCQ website at:

http://www.eccq.com.au/what-we-do/health/hepatitis-hivaids-sexual-health/

Alternatively, printed copies can be ordered by downloading and completing the resource order form available at the above site.

All resources and services provided by the Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS and Sexual Health Program including fibroscan procedures, education sessions and client support services provided by our trained bilingual community health workers are FREE.

Funding for this Program is provided by Queensland Health.
