Consider these training options as part of your 2024 workforce development planning.

Equip Aged Care Learning Modules are available for anyone interested in the aged care sector, including personal care workers, nurses, allied health professionals, volunteers and families. All modules are free and can be accessed at any time and in any order.  Introductory modules are tailored to those new to the sector and refresher-level content supports those familiar with the aged care setting. On completion of all modules in the introductory or refresher learning package, an additional certificate is available which details learning and CPD hours.

The Home Care Workforce Support Program Queensland is supporting the aged care sector to grow the home care workforce by 2,400 workers over the next 2 years. SkillsHub is one of six training organisations funded by the Department of Health and Aging under the program to help aged care providers attract, train and retain new and existing workers in home care.
